You are not obligated to take the money out of the company!! Invest this in something like rental property or anything that can reduce the taxation. I know some who have kept the money in the company only taking out what they need and then having a pretax savings pool. Source am IT manager hiring independent contractors who are offshore.

Nov 28, 2018 at 3:38 | comment | added | Fattie | On thing @burke, you're aware that, right here on SE (SO .. whatever) if you click to "jobs" there's even a selector "Remote". If you're picking jobs from angel.co or the like most / almost all are remote. Cordialement

Nov 28, 2018 at 3:17 | comment | added | Fattie | HI new user burke! I have nothing but good news for you, you absolutely do not need to take any sort of 'cut' because of this. (I actually don't see what you mean about stories of remote workers being Abused ?) Fascinating thing, we have never hired a non-remote worker. (One of the things we do is find folks for specialized positions for other entites; I just realized I've never found a "local" person.)
Nov 28, 2018 at 3:07 | comment | added | burke | Au contraire, my dear Fattie, such an arrangement would be so appealingly to me that I would take a cut gladly. One cannot have everything. And workplace stackexchange is simply overflowing with stories of employers shortchanging remote workers. Such is the nature of things. I merely acknowledge this sad fact.
