I have done as you suggested and have had bi-weekly meetings with the PM to demonstrate the short sighted design aspects. Thankfully, my PM has some coding background and he agrees with the points. However, he appears apprehensive to deal with the offshore resource and passed the buck to me to "deal" with the offshore resource... which I feel is out of scope for my role. However, since I've never had to do this, I figured it'd be a good experience. | |
