As I understand it, your current job is basically "nothing", it's not the field you want to be in and is adding nothing to your life, except eating up weeks. As I understand it the new job discussed, will in fact be your "first job" (in your actual field). In every case for everyone, your "first job" pays suck. (Be lucky you're not a programmer.
