Jun 5, 2021 at 17:31 comment added Fattie @WarWithSelf "yes, you are right" music to my ears, heh! One really important thing to internalize, WWS. Don't forget that the majority of humans suffer this problem. I will amaze you, even young Fattie suffered this problem. Old Fattie certainly does not suffer this problem. Don't beat yourself up over being an enabler. Being an enabler is like not yet having having pubic hair. If you're 8 years old and you have no pubic hair, you wouldn't beat yourself up over having no pubic hair. You'd say "well this is common, and in a few years I'll have plenty of pubic hair."You can do it!

Jun 5, 2021 at 14:57 comment added SherlockHolmesKePapa @Fattie yes, you are right. I really need to stop falling for this emotional drama, especially in a corporate world. I am slowly learning this skill from experiences. A lot of people has told me in the past not to give this much importance to emotional drama which people create in professional environment.
Jun 5, 2021 at 14:54 comment added Fattie @WarWithSelf, an issue comes up a lot on this list: if you feel or even notice "emotional" content coming from the other party, that is really on you. One must not be "an enabler," as they say. You really must "as a person" so to speak, learn to just ignore emotional crap from others. If a client or supplier sends me some "emotions", the chance of me even noticing such idiocy is equal to the chance that the Sun will suddenly turn in to an enormous pink flamingo via quantum probability. You really have to toughen up - be like Fattie :)

Jun 5, 2021 at 14:09 comment added Captain Emacs It's not the finance, it's the topic. Don't give a CTC hint if you are not going to work for this guy no matter what. If you are prepared to work for him for a given CTC, don't make a decision of what they can or cannot pay.
