First encounter with computers in 1971...Adam Mark IV Parallax Computing Engine. Things have changed since then. Many of modern languages didn't exist when i was an undergraduate.

I enjoy seeing young people getting into programming and I marvel at how quickly they pick it up.

Have been teaching programming/computer science for ~18 years.
