I've been in computing for 50 years. My first job was stacking cards for an IBM System 500. I progressed from that to wiring panels, and the rest is a 50 year story. I've written a FORTRAN compiler for a CDC 6600, in assembly language, and held every possible position in the industry. I'm just, curious and quickly bored. I'm currently CEO of a multi-national company, doing embedded systems for fruit processing sites. I get to travel 50% of the time, and I love it. There's something new every day.
I've got a BS in Computer Science and an MS in Systems Management, but that was long ago. My challenge these days is to stay half-way current. I'm currently working on a website for a non-profit I sponsor. www.neilsen.org/FosterKids. I'm trying to use it to get current with web development technology. It's quite a job, my education, not the site.
