Very senior (retired after forty years) embedded real-time systems programmer (Texas law is very picky about the use of the term "engineer"), unsuccessful candidate for U.S. Congress, and unreconstructed Cold Warrior. Mission- and safety-critical, high-availability, high-reliability embedded real-time software development, over all phases of the software development lifecycle, soup to nuts. Digital signal processing. Avionics. Firecontrol. FLIR image processing. Communications, navigation, you name it, I've probably done it. Ada, C/C++, FORTRAN IV, Fortran 77. LISP. Wide variety of assembly languages.
