Jan 5, 2019 at 15:02 comment added Fattie If you "disagree with a Manager" you are really going to have trouble, major trouble, going forward. If you're that "type" of programmer, I would urge you to consider creating your own products or services and making money in life that way. You'll never, ever, be happy doing what you're told. The literal definition of a job is "doing what you're told."

Jan 4, 2019 at 15:47 comment added AndreiROM Was the lack of project progress directly attributed to you, or a result of external factors (client pulled out and the company simply didn't have any work for you to do)? This is a pretty important detail, and has a huge impact on how you could spin your leaving the company. Also, how much experience do you have in the field as a whole?
Jan 4, 2019 at 15:12 comment added Ant Overall, I was with the company for 9 months. I agree you would be right if I was there for 2/3 months.
Jan 4, 2019 at 15:07 comment added Kilisi How long was the probation? A few months experience isn't worth a great deal, and it's of suspect quality if you didn't get past probation.
Jan 4, 2019 at 14:43 comment added Ant Yes, the main concern is how to deal with the end during probation in interviews. The skills I've learned are valuable, and represent my main experience in this exact field
Jan 4, 2019 at 14:37 comment added Erik What is the reason you are concerned about mentioning this company? Is it only the part about leaving after probation, or something else?
