"That's my wheelhouse, I need you to focus on [Task]." goes in an email. Also, consider the possibility that your boss may be trying to edge you out because of your health issues, but can't do it directly because of the ADA. That's another reason to document everything, including your discussions with your boss. Consider this all a legally threatening situation and that at some point you may have to sue. | |

I have talked to him about doing "things I do" (which some of them are really what Bill needs to be doing) and he has said point blank "No, you can do that." The other issue is that everything Bill is doing (going to other departments, etc.), I am in fact doing and have thought of doing and have done (because it is my job), and CEO is aware. I have told Bill "you don't need to worry about that", and "That's my wheelhouse, I need you to focus on [Task]." But then he is right back at it. | |
