If it bothers you that much, you probably just shouldn't take any drinks, in case someone thinks you're taking too many in work hours, too many of the expensive ones, too many too early in the day so as to leave fewer for others, and so on. Even if you were spoken to about it, I can't imagine it being anything other than a "Bob, I'd appreciate it if you could leave those drinks for work hours only, thanks." There's no reasonable potential for that to get nasty (unless you make it so.) | |
