If the OP goes into this event with some (not unreasonable!) resentment because the company ignored their dietary restrictions, they’re not going to be very amenable to the team building the company is trying to accomplish. It’s very much in the company’s interest to make sure the lunch is held at a venue where everyone can at least find something to eat. (Even better, obviously, if everyone is actually happy with the choice of restaurant.) | |
