I'm not sure if you've visited a sex shop before - but the "rabbit" featured in S&TC was not the original model, it was a copied design. Layout and font are even harder to copywright. In any event, that's a legal issue, not "moral" per say.

I don't think he's asking what Machiavelli would say about this, more about if he's being irrational to feel uncomfortable doing this and what repercussions he could face for either decision.
