The team I'm part of operates like this, and it's worked wonderfully in terms of efficiency and also handling cultural differences

Your culture doesn't have this so much perhaps but it is their culture_ that you want to understand better of course. so go the 1:1 route as recommended in this answer.
Sep 25, 2020 at 13:35 | comment | added | Michael Durrant | "only two team members". Other team members may have issues or concerns that they are better able to cover up. Don't assume they don't. Have 1:1's with all. In my experience people start opening up at month 1-3 once they revealed a few "secrets" (fears etc) and seen you not share them with others and often shared secrets with them

Sep 24, 2020 at 17:53 | comment | added | teego1967 | @SouravGhosh, OP indicated it's only 2 team members that have this problem. A 1-on-1 pre-meeting discussion or follow-up with these individuals is totally reasonable and will eventually transition them to opening up in group meetings.

Sep 24, 2020 at 7:47 | comment | added | Sourav Ghosh | Downside: Time required. Goes worse with team size increasing.
