The worst faux pas you can make as an interviewee, in my opinion, is to try to convince an interviewer that you've obtained some mastery in a skill that you clearly have little understanding of. As a hiring manager, I strongly prefer a candidate who knows what she doesn't know over one who thinks she knows something she doesn't. | |
