Sep 13, 2022 at 13:29 | comment | added | Hilmar | You may have to adjust your expectations a bit. You are not going to have your dream assignment every single task that you work on. But it's still a good learning opportunity. Part of this is life at a large MNC: there is a lot of work to be done that isn't all that glorious, but it pays well exactly for that reason

Sep 13, 2022 at 5:40 | comment | added | androidguy | What does support mean? Fixing bugs or helping users use the application?
Sep 13, 2022 at 5:33 | comment | added | Skumar | @HorusKol No, there is no such thing as development or support role, while one is being hired in such companies. The roles depend on the project that one gets, after being hired into that company. The pay is same , either for a development project or a support project.
Sep 13, 2022 at 5:10 | comment | added | HorusKol | So, you have done no development work in two months, or is it that you were expecting a greenfield project and have instead been handed an ongoing one. I find it very strange that a company would pay developer rates for a support role.
