About the second point though "the self-assessment is the only way to not end up with a below average raise" needs a modification: "A successfully written self-assessment". I've submitted bad evaluations in the past (didn't know any better) when I had done good work that year but ended up with below average salary raise with bad managers. Good ones have at least some idea of what I'm doing and override my evaluation. | |
