I will say that they are not pair programming and although it's a team of six, 2 programmers tend to never be involved while 2 seem to never stop talking, I'm curious how they code and talk simultaneously. I will say that it is my business if they are slacking, it's every manager's business to ensure our company is successful and that can't happen if an entire department is spending all day slacking off. Upon reading most of the answers though it seems it's not uncommon and we are left with the fact that marketing's productivity will be damaged due to the seating arrangement. | |
