When I'm hiring, I'm more wary of people who will jump at the roles I'm offering as it makes them appear desperate. I prefer to hire people who're willing to tell me the truth, even if it's not what they think I want to hear. | |

If I did answer the interviewer the way you described above, doesn't that just put me back in the pool of everyone else? It could seem as though I have just as much interest or skill as Very Interested CS Graduate A, B, or C, who would also be vying for the same job. | |
