A year ago I would have answered this question no however I had an experience. When I started working for my former employer my managers told me what a bad company we were working for. Other people told me that we use very poor tools to do our job and that the company doesn't really care about us. At the very least I found this demoralizing. A friend recommended to ask during an interview "do people like their job?" and I think this could weed out some bad environments. Does anyone have any suggestions how I could phrase the question better? I guess if they try avoiding the question or not properly answering then the answer probably is no.
Is it a reasonable question to ask in an interview if people enjoy working for the company or the work they do?
