Nov 10, 2020 at 18:56 comment added Ben Barden You've posted a bounty to draw more attention, but the question had five answers already. What is it about those answers that isn't working for you? What is it that you need?

Do you tie her shoes too? There's nothing wrong with helping each other out or asking for advice/opinion every now and then, but constantly being asked to do someone elses work is crossing a line imo - Ask her for half her paycheck next time and see how she reacts.. ;)

Sep 21, 2020 at 19:50 comment added guest @Old_Lamplighter: That a question is about interactions doesn't make it on topic on Interpersonal Skills, while this question would be. Please note that I did not mean to offend you - I wanted you to give an advice, an additional angle to the question (just like people on this site often mention relates questions). If mentioning this is really "bad form" here, the site etiquette needs a drastic change.

Sep 21, 2020 at 14:33 comment added Old_Lamplighter @guest ALL workplace questions deal with interactions, and I am not asking an interpersonal question, I am asking a professional question.
Sep 21, 2020 at 14:11 comment added guest @Old_Lamplighter: I am not saying this question does not belong here. For me, this question clearly involves acting with other people and thus I am saying that it may be also good on another stack. I don't understand why this should be a bad forn.
Sep 21, 2020 at 14:04 comment added Old_Lamplighter @guest No, it is not, it is a business environment, a business question, and it is bad form to try to poach questions for other stacks
Sep 21, 2020 at 13:49 comment added guest This may also be a good question for the Interpersonal Skills Stack Exchange.
Sep 21, 2020 at 13:47 comment added Old_Lamplighter @SouravGhosh I will be doing both. :)
Sep 21, 2020 at 13:38 comment added Captain Emacs @SouravGhosh We all at some point lose patience. Anyway, any chance of agreeing on a given time slot for her to pick your brain, perhaps with an agenda? Then at least you know when this happens and can mentally prepare for this.
Sep 21, 2020 at 13:32 comment added Sourav Ghosh You should be answering this question sir, not asking this. :)
