Oct 1, 2016 at 10:41 comment added Pilling Fine @PhilipKendall and and others with the same opinion: I did not ask whether to do or not (that's opinion based), my question above is about the best ways to professionally handle one's self still in such a situation; if one chooses to take that job, and that's not down to opinion, IMHO.
Sep 30, 2016 at 18:45 comment added A. McDaniel Perhaps consider realizing that your personal ethics should go on hold when working for a company, which is ethically mandated to do only two things: obey the absolute letter of the law, and maximize shareholder profits at all costs. If you choose to be a part of a company, you are acting as an agent of that company, and your personal ethics are irrelevant if you choose to continue to work there.

Sep 30, 2016 at 15:26 comment added Chris G @PhilipKendall, I disagree that it is entirely opinion-based. I even answered it referencing research. I think it's an important question to ask and answer.

Sep 30, 2016 at 15:17 comment added Philip Kendall I'm voting to close this as opinion-based as how you deal with this is an incredibly personal decision. Some people would not be prepared to do this at all, others will be able to just ignore the bigger picture of what their employer is doing.
