Newbie to the IT industry, but been a computer geek for decades. I was an Airforce Ground Equipment mechanic for 13 years, but blew out my knees and could no longer perform my duties unassisted or pass the yearly fitness test since then.
So here I am cutting my teeth on a professional version of my hobby interest.
Note: Please do not post job offers or job guidance to me that are not related to the IT world. I'm investing a heck of a lot of time and money into studying the IT realm and will not give up what I have sacrificed so far for anything but a successful transition into the IT industry. It took me over a year of fighting tooth and nail with the VA to get to the point where I am now. So much to learn and so little time, IT is about to explode with the adoption of HTML5 and once IPv6 kicks in.
